The easiest way is by cable car (telecabina) from Bușteni or Peștera. However, be prepared for long queues during weekends. Alternatively, you can hike from Bușteni (approx. 3–5 hours depending on the route and fitness level).

Not at all. Mountain weather can change in minutes. Even in summer, temperatures at the Omu Peak (2507 m) can hover near freezing. Always pack a waterproof jacket and a warm layer.
