English Name (Romanian Name)
We have chosen this structure for a very practical reason: Your travel accuracy.
If you are planning to visit one of the locations featured on our forum, please follow this tip:
- For GPS Navigation: Always copy the Romanian Name (the one inside the parentheses) into your navigation app (Google Maps, Waze, etc.) -Except for the titles of Flora, Wildlife and Food sections, of course (there Romanian titles are only informal).
- No Special Characters Needed: You don't need to worry about Romanian diacritics (like ș, ț, ă). You can type the name using standard English letters, and the GPS will still provide 100% accurate results.
- Example: For a post titled Wind Cave (Peștera Vântului), you can simply type "pestera vantului" into Google Maps, and it will take you exactly to the right spot.
